The slavery part is because prisons use prisoners as slave labor with no rights to organize or unionize, negotiate wage or benefits or hours, etc. they are used for some of the most physically demanding and dangerous jobs or ‘leased’ to private businesses like equipment. Prisons, especially for profit anti human shitholes, use the 13th amendment as legal cover to abuse and oppress the people they are charged to protect and care for.
The Wendy’s part has two points: agriculture and to a lesser frequency staff at restaurants
Here’s a pretty thorough article including a history, mentions Wendy’s on page 10 with a link. It references a survey from 2016 where 76% of prisoner respondents reported they were threatened if they did not work.
https://digitalcommons.nyls.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=2622&context=nyls_law_review
And a document including specific issues with Wendy’s and their corporate response
https://www.iccr.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Wendys-2025-Exempt-Solicitation-FINAL-1.pdf
AP also ran a multi year investigation that showed how multiple major corporations including Wendy’s use prison slave labor while lying about supply chain ethics, but I don’t have a link to their detailed reporting just summaries

Wendy’s uses prison slave labor

Millions of protesters in DC and a general strike until there’s some accountability, anything less and they’ll just try it again. The snap benefits are trying to prevent that but might be the trigger needed

Kills trees, they were alive

He wouldn’t be able to keep his mouth shut, if there is a conspiracy it’s coming from the puppeteers; Stephen Miller, Roger Stone, Susie Wiles, etc.

Reads like the idiot who tried to legislate pi is 3 because his old myth book about blood magic said so. How dumb or evil do you have to be to look around the US in 2025 and think the biggest source of corruption is porn and not politicians.

The public reason they gave was it is an impractical standard that would hinder their ability to protect the public, the restriction was raised by a federal case on June 16th because of the weapons used against the press last time no kings organized mass US protests in June
https://lapublicpress.org/2025/10/no-kings-rally-press-protections/
The actual reason is if journalists aren’t allowed you can control the narrative on what is happening and blame victims, and indiscriminately fire tear gas and less-lethal munitions into crowds of civilians

If a tech executive says we’re on the cusp of a technology breakthrough it means less than nothing and we should be more suspicious of it than already. These are people who don’t know how to manage an organization based on the frequent layoffs (2009, 2014, 2023-2025 over 20k workers). People get fired because they fuck up, management layoff people because management fucked up.

She doesn’t believe dinosaurs were real and misunderstands the methodology of science, thinking it’s faith based when it’s not. These are not the positions of intelligent people, they are conspiracies and lies.
The administration has 3 legal options:
Republicans will choose #3 10/10 because they can’t actually make the government work via compromise it would undermine all their fascist rhetoric, and they won’t let go of their obstructionist tools they and dems use to fuck over the working class.

They can lower it back to 51 like before the no-show filibuster rules and keep it at 51, but that takes away a major tool used for corruption and obstruction. Or they can just not cause people’s insurance premiums to skyrocket next year.

Sandboxing by default and preventing Google and others from spying in and manipulating apps are good steps phone OS developers should use, but I don’t think those kind of things would help for this particular case.

They deserve to know the truth, that their parent is a fascist who doesn’t care about constitutional rights or empathy.

I used to be on a list. I’m on a list now, but I also used to be too.

Biometrics aren’t passwords they are usernames, passwords necessarily change I’m not changing my fingerprints or iris or bhole or whatever they want to scan. With how easy it is to copy someone’s bio markers vs stealing their password this would be a huge security risk if they want to use it for entry to secured facilities.

Just think about how many ICE couldn’t cut it for police or military so they washed out into ICE, border patrol, DHS, etc that just recruit bodies as long as you are violent and dumb enough to follow illegal orders. Acab but these rejects are so fucked even cops won’t let them in their gang.

Exported and cut out the local stuff, not sure on the etiquette so just posted under a spoiler. A couple like AP and Reuters are re-streams from a third party.

CEO articles most often than not are just corpo salespeople telling you about trash they are trying to push on people. They are literally paid millions of dollars by the wealth class to not tell the truth unless under oath in court or a deposition. They’re not paid for hard work or leadership, if you’ve worked in a corp setting for at least a week that much is obvious. They are paid buckets full of money to ignore or suppress their morality for stock prices. It’s obvious when it’s garbage like language models sold as agi, but the same is true for the rest of the pr vomit they feed to news agencies.
