The cynic in me says they are very good at burning through such amounts without any notable progress. However since it is open source, my hopes are up that this will lift the veil where otherwise bureaucracy and corruption will waste the money.

GEMA is so bizarre. If you’re a musician and composer and want to do a live concert that consists only of songs written by you and there is an entrence fee, you’ll basically have to give them all of said fee or even more. They are destroying any culture really, only to give the money to some of the most successful musicians. And that even if you yourself are not part of GEMA, so don’t get ANYTHING in return.

Not really though. They were just anti German-Nazi. Just look at all the lynchings, the Jim Crow laws, segregation etc.

As a German, I had to laugh at “NPD” as this is the name of the predecessor of the current Nazi party AfD, and this is just such a perfect fit.

You do refactoring with auto complete?

As a senior dev I have found AI useful for auto completion (where you see beforehand what it wants to write directly in Visual Studio) and code analysis (as it does find some bugs and can give good hints for code structure). I would never trust it with anything even remotely complex though.

It kinda scares me that people trust it enough for “agent mode”, as giving it direct access to change stuff directly has simply put never worked.

That and being taught that over-confidence helps overcoming the shortcomings of lacking knowledge. That’s how they got into their positions in the first place.

That’s not at all what we are saying. You seem way too emotional, might be a good idea to take a step back and not start artificial fights with someone you basically agree with… I don’t feel empathy for these people at all. De-humanizing is simply put counter-productive, as it puts a shadow where a light should be, and that is how those people are influenced to become this way, thus clarifying what goes wrong in society and eliminating the root cause by pointing it out every step of the way.
