How is “I want to maintain power” not an ego play?

Ironic since the Democratic party not supporting ranked choice voting is its own ego play. They just can’t stomach the idea of there being more than two parties. Same on the right. Unfortunately this centrism has resulted in the status quo.

Oh right, blame the voters in a rigged election. Makes total sense.
