The more I think about it, the more I like it:

Not really. Congress can revoke the ability of CA to have stricter standards but they can’t force them to continue to register IC engine vehicles.
CA still controls which vehicles they will register within the state. They can’t prevent someone from driving into the state with a different registration but they already don’t have to register a project car from Colorado that doesn’t have fenders. Even Texas can refuse to register that project car. This is already established.
Oh, and they can impound that fenderless project car from Colorado for not meeting their road regulations.
This doesn’t even matter. State’s rights are still in effect, no matter what the Senate says and then… what the fuck are they going to do? Force California to register new combustion vehicles in 2035? See you in court in 2037 I guess.
California is going to just keep their policy going and the Fed isn’t going to do shit about it. This is just performative bullshit.
Taking them back to pre-2008 public holdings. I’m not educated enough to know if this is a good idea.
FNMA was public for my whole life, since like 1969. FHLMC was public since like 1990 and people then thought it was a bad, bad idea but I guess it worked out OK until the whole crash. In 2008 they were both placed under the control of the Federal Gov’t. That seemed to work out OK for FNMA and FHLMC but I’m not sure how it affected everyone else.

Yeah, I did know that. It’s just the frame that’s “plastic”. I remember years ago when they got popular some people were freaking out that a “plastic gun” could go though a metal detector and others had to correct them.
I guess it’s nylon because that’s one of the hardest plastics we have. Many of my tools have “plastic” parts that are nylon.
So it’s a lack of integrity of the 3D printed plastic? What’s a Glock made of, nylon?
I wonder why they don’t work so well. Maybe I don’t understand how they operate but it seems like if the frame is in the correct precise shape it should work like a regular Glock.
Probably better for everyone that they don’t work like the real thing.
