At the current prime rate of 7%, changing a loan from 30 years to 50 would reduce payments by less than 10%. Just a terrible idea.

The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection could have fined the company more than $3 million under the 2022 agreement, which allowed for daily penalties to be assessed. But regulators knocked down the total penalty to $242,800. For example, the bulk of the total possible fine was linked to the alleged missed inspections, but the agency chose to levy just a $10,000 penalty for each of the company’s 11 permits.
“Given the extraordinary number of violations, NDEP has decided to exercise its discretion to reduce the penalty to two $5,000 violations per permit, which it believes offers a reasonable penalty that will still serve to deter future non-compliance conduct,” regulators wrote in the letter.
HE IS THE RICHEST PERSON IN THE WORLD. This is infuriating.

Ames said the EPA “has gone rogue” and she suspects Trump is unaware of the situation. The president has publicly said he wants clean water and food, Ames said, and she suspects he will act if alerted.
🤣

Someone beat them to it too lol

They’ll add an exception for gold phones or something.

The Trump business’ press release about the phone purports that the device, The T1, is “designed and built in the United States.” The report noted that Apple has a similarly ambiguous claim, “Designed by Apple in California.” In Apple’s case, however, it has a disclaimer saying that the phones are assembled in India or China.
How is that “similarly ambiguous”? Neither phone was built in the US; only the Trump phone creators lied and said it was.

First thought: I hope it gets canceled
Second thought: go ahead and do it, and let Trump wave a flag on top of the biggest float

Thank you for your service.

I think they’re just saying it isn’t a filibuster.

The highest earning 10% also have about 67% of the wealth, so they are actually underperforming compared to the rest of the population. It’s just that they have all the money.
We’ll take all the pennies, melt em all down, and make a giant statue of me!
