  • You have 6 comments in a thread with 36 responses. None of yours are on topic, some of them are quite offensive.

Here is an example of a different person in the same thread who also didn’t know who the artist was. They somehow managed to be on topic and illicit positive replies.

Yes, it’s a forum for people to talk and ask questions. But you’ve gotta realise that there’s a right and a wrong way to go about it. If you’re gonna post something useless that can easily be answered by typing the name in a search bar, the least you can do is be nice about it.

  • Decided to try one of the less political articles to see what it’d look like.

One expert observes that “every school shooter has been heavily immersed in violent first person shooter games.”[1] Many bright futures of young men are destroyed by video game habits, and video games even cause harmful increases in blood sugar in players.[2] Video games are addictive, train young mass murderers, and promote liberal talking points or ideas.

That’s one of the first things it says. Then it goes on to talk about promoting homosexuality and some more bullshit. Good stuff…

  • Hey, so I’ve got no horse in this race and also not a native English speaker so please bear with me.

To me the op’s statement sounds ironic, but not really a projection. According to google, to project is to unconsciously attribute your thoughts/feelings onto someone else. Like if you’re having an argument and you’re losing and as a self defense you claim that the other party is angry and or unreasonable or whatever.

In this case the cybertruck owner says the guy shaming him should be shamed. He doesn’t realise that it’s him who should feel shame, so it’s ironic.

Am I missing something? Or was it all just some joke and I’m just overthinking it?

Or is the guy being downvoted because he’s being an ass, not because he’s wrong?
