I want to see The Year of the Linux Desktop™ as much as anyone else on this platform, but I think you’re living in a bubble if you believe there’s any universe in which this could suddenly dethrone Windows.

This is the dev that changed the license a while back from GPL to CC-BY-NC-ND because they got mad about forks.

The kicker here is that the AUR package they’re whining about here is based on the last GPL version.

Grew up watching The Daily Show and Colbert Report, but I’ll admit The Late Show just never did it for me. I tuned in for the opening monologue and that was it, and after a while just stopped watching.

The purpose of this bill isn’t to ban porn, it’s to ban ‘porn’. Anything they don’t like will be deemed ‘porn’, and then this gives them the legal justification to ban whatever they want.
