I could very easily, I’ve just only use rsync a handful of times for one-off files or small directories. Thinking of using it for several Tbs scares me 😅
Just a guy. Just a fella. Subject to say silly stuff.

Would you recommend nnn for transfering ~5Tb of media between two local servers? Seems like a weird question but it’s something I’ll have to do soon.

I think for many people, whether they’re tinkerers or programmers or whoever, enjoy the freedom that comes with Arch.

Apps is short for Applications, which is another word for “programs” or “software.” You want to use a PC without any software??

Good stuff, glad it’s working out for you! I use CachyOS with KDE and I can get by pretty easy using Dolphin for most of my file needs. I do use the terminal quite a bit managing the Debian server running our friend group’s Minecraft server though!

I’m so fucking thankful I don’t work for a large ISP call center anymore. Customers will scream about their prices going up but somehow blame the last administration in the same breath.

Cachy is preloaded with Paru. Is yay the better option?
I’ve been holding off on upgrading my work computer to W11 for as long as I can. It’s already slow as shit with all the MS bloat (along with another required spyware program we have installed for one of our vendors), I can only imagine 11 will make that much worse.
Mint. It’s so easy my mother in law can use it! Very easy to maintain, virtually no terminal use if you dont want to. Cinnamon (Mint’s desktop environment) is fairly customizable too iirc.
