I made a lemmy post about it but I theorize they’re crowdsourced AI training. Post something, post a couple of separate AI interpretations of it, then analyze the highest up voted AI and “organic” responses, and feed that back into the model. Rinse/repeat
I mean the bots don’t help. The sheer number of obviously AI subreddits and response farms is crazy. There’s like 6 prominent “Am I the Assholes”, a bunch of text message “screenshot” subreddits which have always been easy to fake, and a bunch of “explain the joke” ones too. I stop reading halfway through most text posts and comments because it’s obviously AI
I don’t personally think we’re anywhere close to this point but I imagine the objective is to eat the corporate laptop market. Outside of developers I think there’s a real appeal to giving business users an AR headset and a phone. You don’t have to worry about monitors, keyboards, headsets, etc. It’s significantly lighter and more mobile. Most of what business people do doesn’t need more processing power than a phone has. You could eliminate cubes and just have banks of seats with small desks. Plus imagine the productivity gains when you can literally watch the user’s eyes and prevent them from even looking at non-work items

You’re correct, I was skipping details to make a joke. While ultimately the mother does deside I think most Moms (who are a mess from just giving birth) turn to the nearest penis owner they trust for a decision on the matter and that’s usually the dad
In America at least most people don’t really consider it until the kid is born. Then in the post birth rush of things happening someone asks if you want to circumcise your kid. Most Dads will say “well I’m circumcised, so I guess” and his dad said “well I’m circumcised, so I guess” and his dad said “well I’m circumcised, so I guess” and his dad said “HE IS BORN OF SIN! We must circumcise him to discourage sinful behavior!”
Most people really don’t think too deeply about most things, try not to over think it

I remember when they were trying to pass the ACA Republicans were screeching about government “death panels” that would decide it wasn’t worth it to keep you alive. Anyway, I’m glad nothing like that ever came to exist
