It feels dated and ugly
Weird, mine came with Cinnamon, not Plasma
A guy on the internet who does things sometimes
It feels dated and ugly
Weird, mine came with Cinnamon, not Plasma

I give 0 ducks about Nazis who drive the Nazi car. The more of them that oven themselves in them the better

No serious injuries
How unfortunate

Basic internet precautions: if you’re looking at a GitHub for a famous piece of software that has only 250 total downloads: double check the Url, read any commands before you run them and compare to documentation if you’re unfamiliar with a piece of one, if you run something in docker or similar containerization for any reason make sure you set the PUID and GUID of the containers to a user other than root or they’ll be root by default

AI call screening has been on Pixels since 2017/2018, this appears to be a mild update to how that process works while rolling it out to all of android rather than just the pixel line
This tech isn’t new at all

When the phone is answered the AI is the one speaking and tells the person calling that it’s a bot who’ll pass the info to the actual user

this AI will always be running constantly draining your battery anyway
It’s part of the phone app and only engages when you get a call, my god the lack of understanding on a feature that’s been out for years now in this thread is actually crazy

My old gaming PC isn’t “good enough” for Win11 (tpm2 ofc), yet compared to the Win11 PC my wife’s work forced on her you’d think it was some sort of future supercomputer
If enough people actually ditch their hardware then we server admins are going to eat good this year, mmmmmmm

Gemini is actually legit the best LLM I’ve used locally for anything, consistently faster and more accurate than even models taking up about double the resources
Shame it’s stupid locked down even in my ollama installation and it’s near impossible to get it to do something daddy google doesn’t like. Ah well, works really well for checking my garbage config files lol
I use it daily on Firefox on Linux and on Windows and on android using Revanced
It works exactly like YouTube but without ads and with sponsorblock

Soooooo fucking glad I spent the last 3 days re-re-re-re-making and reworking my NAS into a proper homelab made out of my old gaming PC, holy shit
A year of depression and shame at not finishing it suddenly ends right before the enshittification hits harder, nice
Now if my new HDDs could show the fuck up

We really gonna pretend the name caller is as bad as the guy with the opinion that “critics are useless and should just learn how to do the thing the critique”? Cuz that’s a classic shitty opinion

Says the guy trying to fuse disability as a reason to insult someone. Grow up

I do, actually
Bookmark bar is basically identical to tabs in screen location and functionality, so I use those like an adult

So youll just leave them where you would forget them forever instead?
What’s the functional difference between a tab bar and bookmark bar for this specific purpose other than the former taking more resources?
Genuine question because I cannot comprehend

Proud of you, chief, it’s hard to do that kick the addictions
CoD remains the only reason I have Windows (LTSC, on a different drive from Mint). The day someone else makes something that’s CoD Zombies but good (Sker Ritual was… Not), I’ll ditch it. Until then I’m stuck enjoying the occasional custom map release that’s worth a fuck and dealing with Actiblizz :(

Doesn’t have to
Ime even if it’s just a brick for being able to call, or his car is from the last 15 years: they ping cell towers and that can be enough

It also does it completely locally, using an on-device chip. If your phone has the Google assistant on it, disable all Internet and try the wake phrase, it’ll work. Nothing else does, because it has to phone home for that, but the wake phrase handling IS on-device. Can’t even turn the flashlight on otherwise tho lol, even if you use what we used to call the power button (new name for it? Lock button?) and type what you want it bitches about internet
Not really, no. The video topic was about self-hosting your own media server, so the title is perfectly clear
