i have been thinking for a bit about what you said. you have to understand where us (people not from US) are coming from. whether you like it or not, US is (now not so much) beacon of hope, a gold standard for freedom and prosperity. you prosper, we prosper.

i think the way you view your politics is wrong. your reality is painfully simple. you only have two choices. dems of republicans. regardless of what you wish to happen within your democratic views, at the end of the day that is all you have. to not vote dems because they don’t satisfy your immediate wishes is incredibly shortsighted. i get it, many didn’t like who was put forward from the dem side. but what exactly was the voting option on that day? it was red or blue.
