If it’s priced at or around $500/$600, I’m getting one. Price will be very important to the success of these products.

The point is more: Crunchyroll chooses to pay the sub company (Israeli based) to provide them with a service. The company pays taxes to the Israeli government. So the flow of money becomes:
Subscriber pays Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll pays sub company
Sub company pays taxes to Israeli government
If I don’t want my dollars to go towards the Israeli government even in a small scale, I don’t pay Crunchyroll.
As one person, it isn’t much, but multiply that by a million subs and now you’re sending a message
I play 4k and 1080p HD stuff all the time with 5.1 surround at home and when I travel. It also runs my pihole and I have a rudimentary raid 1 (def not real raid 1) running with the rsync command to mirror my media drive that backs my data up every day at midnight. It’s a punchy little fucker.
I don’t disagree that you’re generally paying for the name but it my 4b w/ 8GB ram I got as a gift kicks ass. There are definitely better machines out there but the pi can handle lots of what I ask of it.
I have an old 2 something I’m thinking of using to host my cloud storage on, too. I don’t mind if it’s slower uploading.
What are you on about? I’ve been hosting Plex on my raspberry pi without issue for literal years lol

Nah. Gotta watch only odd episodes

Next major Samsung OS update is One UI 8 and the S24 is getting that update

Thanks!

Funny… My ad tier sub for $50/year has none

Which ones…? I’m in the market for exactly that

If paying attention and taking a few notes in a meeting is an unimportant task, you need to ask why you were even at said meeting. That’s a bigger work culture problem though

Windows Phones had this even earlier

I love it on my tab s9+ with keyboard case. It has a few weird things I wish ere better but not really an issue. Like, it’d be cool if the keyboard could drag select text like a pc and a few other things. Overall, really awesome though

Why not both nobody wants them and 60% of Americans can’t afford basic living expenses?

They’re not trying to solve the next ‘where you can compute’ problem. Smartphones can already be used anywhere. They’re solving the ‘when’ problem and there are lots of times that a phone can’t be used.
Lots of people see the ‘when can I compute’ optimal solution to be anytime. Think of all the places people bring cameras. That’s where they’d love to have a computer. An HMD can do that if it gets small enough

It also ignores how hard it is to be a pilot or a train conductor vs driving a car around town. Got an easy to obtain license and some cash and you’re golden. Try to do that with a plane or train. Takes some serious education in comparison

Keyboard feels great to use but their current layout sucks majorly

And statistical analysis. The larger the universe, the smaller the true random sample you need
I only dumped my flip 4 because the winters can get - 20f and plastic and bendy glass hates that. If I lived in a nicer climate, I’d totally have one still. Never gave me issues even in the cold though
