I didn’t say it was cheddar. I said it was made from cheddar. It’s decidedly not cheddar, which is why it’s not called “cheddar”.

Just wanted to say that the hate on American cheese is unjustified. American cheese is just cheddar that has been heated to 170f (iirc) for long enough to kill bacteria and make it shelf-stable. They add an emulsifier (again, iirc) to help it bind better and have a more pleasant texture.

All other criticisms of America are valid, but the cheese doesn’t deserve the hate it gets.

Not to mention that it will be increasingly difficult to retain employees if their workplace is a target. If McDonald’s started getting shot up/destroyed because Ronald was a mask-off nazi, I would be into another job ASAP.

What a fantastic thing for the parents to experience! I love that they will have to live with the fact that their child is dead of a completely preventable disease purely because of their own decisions.

Just because that’s what the police said doesn’t make it true. Police are known liars and have been caught countless times arresting the wrong person, planting evidence, and/or lying to get an arrest and make themselves not look as inept as they are.

The police need to punish someone. If a crime has been committed, that’s a bonus. If they are punishing the preparator of the crime, that’s a double-bonus. If they can murder you, they get a paid vacation while the union takes care of the paperwork.

Is there a similar tool that will “poison” my personal tracked data? Like, I know I’m going to be tracked and have a profile built on me by nearly everywhere online. Is there a tool that I can use to muddy that profile so it doesn’t know if I’m a trans Brazilian pet store owner, a Nigerian bowling alley systems engineer, or a Beverly Hills sanitation worker who moonlights as a practice subject for budding proctologists?
