Finally we’re getting to the Real Steel era!

I have my jellyfin running on ubuntu server on a 12 year old PC with a bunch of salvaged HDDs added in, plugged into my standard home internet. I have like 10 people I share it with. So far it’s not made a noticeable dent in either the internet usage or the electric.

This is utter bullshit. I’ve not bought a new phone in 7 years and even then the economic damage causes by my purchasing habits in those 7 years is an insignificant spec in the face of the economic damages wrought by the single Walmart in my home town each month.

I’m posting this from a 7 year old device.

Bubba is a pretty common name for dogs in these parts…

Fuck, I’d go out and make it if I wasn’t trying to avoid imagining that…

But will you obsessively monitor their sperm?

I get my funyon fix at the Asian market now. Dragonfly has been doing spices for centuries and their onion ring chips taste like the east india trading company would invade their factory.

So it’s not that the consumer is stupid, it’s that marketing is desperate to find another way to explain that no one can afford $8 for a bag of shitty chips?
Eyeballing for size, those are easily bigger than a micro SD, if you made a way to read round SD cards that’s easily a terabyte.

Personally I moved back to mp3, so much less hassle and if you don’t mind the high seas it’s super easy to rip off Spotify.

Red hood would have shot Kirk.

I knew I was off on something, thank you!

He’s a Mexican Puerto Rican club music musician, his stuff is actually pretty good but rather raunchy if you speak the language.
If you’re a honky like me you may take a liking to his recent work with the Gorillaz

Let it be stated here, if I’m ever inspired to commit acts of violence it will be strictly because a Nazi is the richest man on earth and the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi.
In total, less than an hour of my time. Maybe 6 hours to copy the playlists and download all of them, but I only had to copy/paste and hit go on the software. Honestly, if I knew it was this easy I’d have do we it years ago.
It’s 6 years old and the battery isn’t removable. Plus I can leave the mp3 synced to the speakers all day and not have to worry about calls or leaving the house interrupting it.
I picked up some mp3 players with Bluetooth for about $7 each on aliexpress. Just finished acquiring my entire Spotify liked list. In my house, we’re getting back on the correct timeline.
Way cooler than human boxing.
