I mean I guess this might be conspiracy territory (although at this point I feel he’s pretty much completely admitted as much through his whole “I am become meme” cringe persona) but I feel like it’s pretty clear he knew exactly what he was doing at the inauguration and just did it as a “lol watch what edgy thing I’m gonna do… and they won’t do a thing about it” and he was 8 billion percent right. Nobody did a damn thing.

Unless I have the law wrong, he skirted the law. He didn’t pay anyone to vote (although he originally said he was), he technically only paid them to sign a petition. The law afaik only says you can’t pay people to vote (regardless of who, in Wisconsin you straight up cannot pay people to vote at all), you can pay them to sign a petition.
However I would argue that by first announcing that the money would go only to people who voted and then subtly changing it later is still totally a form of bribery. People absolutely voted for a chance at that money because of his original statement and didn’t know it changed. But I’m going to go out on a limb here and say he’ll be 100% fine because of technicalities (aka he’s rich as shit and is completely untouchable)

That reminds me of a tweet I just saw from the White House celebrating the fact that he’s signed more executive orders than any president in history at this point by far. Which is… fine I guess but just seems like a really really strange thing to be super proud of to me.

I do absolutely think that going on podcasts and streams are a fantastic way to get younger voters. They certainly aren’t watching msnbc or cnn or Fox news or something like that.
Trump’s spree of twitch streams and podcasts just before the election seemed to do wonders. Granted it’s anecdotal but I work with tons of highschool and college aged kids and I cannot tell you how many kids I heard saying how awesome he was with Adin Ross or logan Paul or Theo von or Joe Rogan and on the Flagrant podcast etc.
There are obviously a shit ton of other things the Dems should be doing and not looking hilariously out of touch in almost every appearance is probably #1 but I think avoiding podcasts and streams is a very dumb move at this point.
I just cannot fathom how anyone on this planet can say that it wasn’t a Nazi salute. If there was an Olympic event for Nazi saluting that thing would have been a perfect 10. You can argue intent behind it, but saying it wasn’t a Nazi salute is simply batshit insane. Make it make sense.

How do all these resignations not just completely help this administration do whatever the hell they want? If everyone that disagrees with them just resigns, the only people left will just be a bunch of ring kissers. Are they just depending on the bad publicity from so many resignations to do the work instead? Is there something I’m missing?
As a very dumb person, is what the Dems that voted for this said wrong? Is there a chance that Asshat Trump and his Billionaire Butt Buddy would go on an unchecked rampage without Congress in session? Or is that just bull crap? I don’t know enough about how everything works when congress shuts down.
In line with this (annoyingly) a ton of Doges supposed savings were exactly this same type of money. They claimed savings by cancelling payments for things already provided or delivered.

He’s already said that he will not release this information. I’m not sure why this is surprising anyone. They’re releasing stuff that was already out there. None of this is new and there won’t be anything new at least until the next administration if ever.
