Discord is genuinely a great tool for what I used to use Skype for. Talking to my friends, and sharing dumb memes with them in a groupchat format. Companies need to learn that using it as a forum, a Q&A service, a wiki or any other information sharing purpose, is simply fucking retarded.

They’re not even trespassing, they have permission from this privately owned entity, to voice their opinion on this privately owned piece of land.

The entitlement of the business owners and CEO are the real fucking entitlement here. These pricks aren’t entitled to my motivation. If they want me to be motivated to work hard, they have to provide that motivation. While we’re on the topic. If a business owner wants his workers to care about the profits of the company. Maybe they should be guarenteed a part of the profits, possibly even make their share of the profits be determined by how much value they add to the company. Though I see why the business owner doesn’t want socialist stuff like that, since they’d end up owing the company money.
Honestly, sounds like the corporation’s problem. I’m more afraid for human lives than some product in the back. In a case like that it’d be better to not have a driver who could be killed.

A lot of people who either voted for Trump, or didn’t really care about Trump are going to feel the impact of him. This isn’t just about Trump voters though. The democratic party is part of the same oppressive system that loves oligarchs, as long as they get paid by them. Instead of looking within and realising they were wrong, and that the system in the USA is broken throughout, they’re going to chalk it up to “well, that was unfortunate”, and learn absolutely fuckall from it, and vote for the next fascist bastard again next opportunity.
If they move to Europe, their values won’t have changed. They won’t have learned a thing, and they will continue to support that system, and vote for it when they get the permission to do so.
I’m not saying all americans are like this. No country is ever made up entirely of idiots, but the amount that would actually support the systems in place in Europe is a very small minority.

Clearly no one actually knows what an astronaut is exactly, and what the exact minimum requirements are for an astronaut to be called an astronaut. What everyone seem to at least agree on is that part of what makes an astronaut, is in some capacity to visit space.

Did they travel in a spacecraft, and did they recieve the necessary training to do so?
Not all astronauts pilot the spacecraft, and most going to eg. the ISS don’t actually do anything while going to the station. That trip is also just an automated flight, controlled by the onboard computer.
It’s more akin to, “if that makes them astronauts, then people who have traveled on an airplane, has recieved the training to travel in an airplane.”
While I’m disgusted by this whole pr stunt by Katy Petty, an astronaut is literally just a person trained to travel in a spacecraft beyond the earths atmosphere. pr Merriam Webster. So is she an astronaut? Assuming the spacecraft actually left the earths atmosphere, then yes. She can identify herself as an astronaut. Doesn’t make her anywhere near as cool an astronaut as the people who work and do research in space, but that’s not necessarily part of the definition.
I will put those people into the “status symbol” group.
They may not give a fuck about the politics, the quality issues or being lied to, but they still want a Tesla for a reason. They could save money by buying a different car that performs equally or better. So they don’t buy it because of the price.
With no other incentive it leads me to the conclusion they want it because they think it makes them look “better” than everyone who doesn’t have one.
Seriously. I can handle being with family for a while, but would absolutely lose all will to live if I had to be near children every single day. Even more if I was actually supposed to be responsible for them. There are a lot of good reasons to not get children, the best one I have is that I just don’t want to be near them.
