Being the “low cost Mac” is very different from being the cheapest option.
Though I’ll say that my one Mac purchase in the early 00’s was a few years after they switched to OSX and I bought a Macbook Pro for probably 60%+ more than the equivalent PC but it lasted me over 2X as long as any PC ever had prior. Plus the free OS upgrades that were unheard of on Windows machines at the time.

If you have something to say just say it. Don’t goad someone else to say it on your behalf.

Sorry, but this sounds like a Monty Python bit and I laughed.
“Well, I suppose I might murder someone…”
lol

No, it just means they’ll offshore even more jobs than they are now.

Same! Even converted a couple of Surface tablets over as well. Id like to try Pop Linux on one of them just to see, but can’t get em to boot from USB.

Any chance this is a time traveling Stephen Miller?

This elicits an… appropriate… image in my mind.

And nothing of value was lost

So the tricorder in Star Trek was just a fancy, battery powered wifi hotspot??

And with mail in ballots, you can just put a stamp on that cheat sheet and your job is done. No need to stand in line and re-copy everything again.

If both are felonies, why use a sandwich?

Whew, that’s a relief. As a completely straight, totally not gay, heterosexual male, knowing that I will only get to see the penises of other men in the bathroom gives me an immeasurable sense of release relief.

One thing I now know with 100% certainty: my family is pro child sex trafficking…

There are FOUR cities in North Dakota??!

I’ve been noticing it since January, though I can’t say I was paying very close attention to out of state plates last year.

As a totally non correlated observation, I feel like there are a lot more Texas plates on the road lately vs previous years. And I’m in a way-up-north state.

Between this and blaming wind turbines for their massive power outage a few years ago (instead of, you know, actually exploring the real cause), it seems Texas has a hate-hate relationship with weather and general preparedness.
Which is part of the cost to households. Ergo the initial statement is under stating the full impact.
