  • The first time he pulled any funding the US had for foreign pandemic prevention because Republicans don’t see the point of spending money on another person. Just a year and a half before COVID started actually. Because they know better than anyone else that infections unlike illegal aliens respect international boarders and an endemic in Asia can never become a global pandemic that reaches American shores. That’s obviously antifa propaganda.

/S incase it wasn’t obvious enough

  • The capital comes from the profits from other markets. Which comes from exploiting workers. The original investment didn’t just spontaneously expose itself, people chose to flow money into it. They’ll pay for the next bubble with the profits C-suit executives stole from their workers and the little guy. They will take what should have been yours and bet it away on some fever dream that was doomed to fail from the beginning. All in the hopes that they might make their wealth get more outrageously excessive before this bubble bursts and they try again on the next.

  • Vegas thrives in two economic climates, when things are good, and when things are bad. In the middle gambling usually slows and Vagas is boring. When the trend pushes people to have a lot, they’ll gamble a lot because they can afford to lose. When the trend pushes people to have little, they’ll gamble away what little they have at the chance of a big payday. When things are sliding up and down that’s when people are more conservative with their money and rates of gambling decline. Not quite so broke they’re desperate, but not so flush with cash they’re reckless. Right now we’re kind of in a declining economic climate, but it hasn’t hit the bottom yet and generally people are uncertain if it will.

Plus it doesn’t help that tourists going to Vegas can be abducted and shipped away to a prison half way across the world before anyone at home would even notice.

Just because Wikipedia offers a list of references doesn’t mean that those references reflect what knowledge is actually out there. Wikipedia is trying to be academically rigorous without any of the real work. A big part of doing academic research is reading articles and studies that are wrong or which prove the null hypothesis. That’s why we need experts and not just an AI to regurgitate information. Wikipedia is useful if people understand it’s limitations, I think a lot of people don’t though.
