We DO have a higher population. But most of us are so used to masking our divergent behaviors that we have no idea that there is an explanation for why our thought processes differ from neurotypicals. We don’t know we’re autistic. But now that I know, I can confidently say that I like myself, I like how my brain works, and I do not have a disorder, or an illness, or any kind of affliction.
