No, these aren’t U.S. army troops, they are Californa Army National Gaurd not United States Army. They are California’s troops, not the U.S.'s the controversy in part was because its a deastic move for the federal government to yoink a states troops and the current situation nowhere near truly qualified.

this genuinely breaks my heart. I didn’t follow them as much but had seen alot of thier stuff. They did amazing work. This is absolutely gut wrenching. Condolences to the bereaved, the world got a little dimmer.

I still meet trump supporters that are avid trump supporters but complaining about polic harassment, and in fear of ICE, they say its not what trump wanted, they have thier own radical agenda, I ask them who gave the greenlight… alas, critical thinking has been going away, to enact any real change we need these avid supporters to wisen up to the snake oil salesman, because yeah if we dont they’ll put on thier antifa caps and call trump a martyr.

If I am understanding it correctly, a stay at home order was issued because the shooter was still “at large” having shot at authorities and then fleeing. The time the protests was supposed to be was covered under the stay at home order.

I think the protests should happen if at all possible, but I understand not wanting people on the streets when there is a known gunman about.

I’ve been talking to alot of people about something like this. If CA didn’t pay federal tax, and all of it went to state, CA would make more money. Don’t want to incite insurrection…but I think we could do alright by ourselves if push came to shove.

yeah, which is why where you get your degree sometimes matters but with all the standization, strictly speaking a AAEE-T from a shitty school counts just as much as any other school, even if the quality isn’t there.

Most of the grade was on the tests, I think 70% then like 30% on the “Lab” portion…which was basically attedance and if you turned something in, he didn’t check for accuracy. One of the worst professor at this college.

I had professor usi g worksheets watermarked by another professor at a college in another state, y’all think anything came of it? He also gave us all the answers to the tests in the form of self graded quizes and let us take them into tests.

One of the problems is many of our shipbuilding ports are shuttered, right, it’s not as much a matter of competition, but they just dont make ships? Putting fines, not to the registered owner, or port of origin but orgin of manufacture for a ship? Seems an absolute nightmare to implement, without alot of use. Where would the money go? Obviously it wouldn’t be used to reopen and run U.S. shipbuilders, so it’s just a money grab for trump to embezzle more money or to piss off more people for no good reason.
