Check out Hetzner, a German cloud provider. Established, reliable and way cheaper than AWS.

I know migrating is nigh impossible for most large apps, but creating a new one on AWS/GCP/Azure is so shortsighted.

More people need to know about alternatives.

I know there’s a lot of hate for Microsoft on Lemmy, but WSL is one of the best parts of Windows. It’s really powerful and well integrated to Windows. Since I still can’t leave for pure Linux install, I’m glad for WSL.

The git plugin commits automatically. All configurable. I’ve set it up on both PC and Android once at the beginning and I didn’t have to think about it ever again.
