Newpipe currently works fine for me on a VPN. Revanced still works and I haven’t patched it in like a year now. Maybe 1/100 videos with freetube will throw a IP block on VPN and usually I don’t even need to change it, just reload the page. Occasionally freetube stops working for a few days which I can just use librewolf with unlock if I really want.

I’m not having any problems, other than watching too much YouTube.

Most rigs go at least 1,000,000 miles and that isn’t isn’t even end off life. You’ll be paying not much less than new for a rig that only has 100k, that’s practically brand new. These systems should have 100 million proven miles. These things weight 80,000lbs which can be very hazardous materials.

We could add those systems to all roads to feed back to semis to know conditions and hazards miles before they reach them. We could build new smart roads for all autonomous vechilce to travel on separately.

Your average driver is lucky to have a bat to check tire pressure. Every Walmart/target/major retailer in the US has been using facial recognition since 2020-2021. ClearView provides the services to both corporations and law enforcement, combing the data from both of those into profiles of every citizen. The US has as much if not more surveillance than China, its just not upfront about it. And its also without a doubt illegal so in can’t be used as a primary source in convictions and is usually not even mentioned to retain secrecy about the level of data collected.

My vr driving Sim rig just works in windows, the most I’ve ever had to do is map my shifter in game. Steamvr, hardware drivers, the actual games, it all just works without doing anything. Plug and play. I’m sure I can get it all working in Linux, eventually. I was(trying to) gaming on Ubuntu 10.04 with wine. I was first batch steamdeck and the amount of progress with gaming I’ve seen thanks to valve and proton means I’ll be coming back. But I’m just waiting for steamOS to be open release.
