  • We have similar ‘smart’ Samsung washer and dryers that we purchased last year after our old Kenmore units bit the dust after many many years.

I am quick to warn anyone that I come across DO NOT buy Samsung machines under any circumstance.

Our wash times (and dry but especially wash) went up from astronomically. Even though the load size was supposed to be one of the largest we could find it no where near compares to what we had. Plus, a month or so after we had ours we received a notification from Samsung that they needed to log into our washer and do a ‘firmware’ update because several of those models were causing fires.

Imagine your washing machine causing a fucking fire and burning your house down.

  • I read your post and reply below and am surprised that your info never showed back up online.

I tried this myself about a year ago back when Google first announced they would also add a tool to assist in removal of unnecessary info like this.

I found that I was able to remove about 70% that never came back.

10-15 percent more, whether they were via Google or whatever, would flat out refuse to remove the info for various reasons.

The remainder would often remove it only for me to find it later with some sort of ‘change’ and that being - they put the info back in and had changed the spelling of my last name or now had me listed as a business so as to get around certain privacy listing rules (like WTF).

  • Not a Trump or Musk fan but it’s safe to assume all government agencies do this to some degree even if minor.

The issue here is Trump and Musk will take whatever they find, however minor that is, and exploit it. They’ve been blowing everything waaay out of proportion and exposing every government secret they can in an effort to try and make themselves look good and others in the government look BAD.

In reality it’s only making the US in general look extremely untrustworthy to everyone else in the world.

But then again that may be the whole purpose of their little exercise.

Eh it’s not just in Texas. I got a coworker who married a Hispanic who got in with a green card then let it expire (she was here illegally with her family who were living here under the radar).

He worked for years to get her citizenship. Now that she has hers, they are the staunchest supporter of Trump and are against any kind of immigration at all.

I like to heckle him about it but it seems pointless because he always just gives me this ‘I don’t get it’ look - like he really doesn’t see the hypocrisy in their position at all.
