3·30 days agoSo what benefit does the pfas have, why are they using it? Does it allow the pesticide to stick to the plant better or something or are pfas chemicals actual pesticides in and of themselves?

A dozen generations of American children grew up learning to hunt and shoot targets without significant incidents. School shootings only became epidemic post-9/11, or maybe the late 90s if you stretch the definition. Guns are dangerous but there’s more happening here than a direct causal relationship.

Wasnt there someone who hacked their google glasses and was getting everyone’s home addresses around him on facial recognition? I would think the risk would be fairly high to people who work with the public from these folks
Unsurprising to me this is happening in schools, they’ve got to be ready for the low wage retail jobs many will have after graduation. A lot of places have been upgrading their phones to Zoom-enabled devices, which have the ability to record and summarize all employee conversations held near them for management or HR. I’ve worked in a couple places recently where it got rolled out and there were hints they were using it that way.
Anyone willing to call me paranoid, or supportive of the idea this tech is used this way or will be, please respond, retail isn’t really full of many tech savvy people and I’m curious if I’m imagining the capability/use of this, or if others have had similar experiences.
This would be a flyby, rather than orbiting, as that would take a lot more propellant. As far as achieving the velocity needed, there are some calculations yet to be done but apparently there could be enough propellant onboard to do it.

Somewhat related, would be nice if they’d order Juno to be rerouted to check out interstellar comet 3I-Atlas, has to be done before the end of the month. Juno is slated to be deorbited into Jupiter in September so has no actual science left to do but probably enough fuel remaining for the rendesvous.
If this happens they should check ID at church too seeing as how children are much more likely to be abused or groomed by someone there.

I look at it like organized crime, you can invest your time, money and mind and you might see some benefits for yourself and your family but it causes untold harm to others and is a net negative overall.
