It’s funny that not too long ago getting a FAANG job right out of college was a recipe for success. Now many grads would prefer to avoid them because they’re so toxic, but can’t find a job and have to apply anyhow.

An associates, bachelor’s, and master’s here. I’ve been rejected for being “underqualified” for jobs with no stated or practical education requirement. I just got a job making a bit above 1/3 of what I was making when I was termed seven months ago. I’m incredibly overqualified and I only got it because I was third choice and two PhDs ahead of me backed out after being offered it. The job is just above entry level and has a requirement of an associates or high school and 2 years experience.

It’s not you, the job market is just insane.

This is a very good idea. I worked call centers in the US when I was younger and they all suffered from terrible, abusive management.

I think it was the Trump presidency, which coincided with the pandemic. Every piece of shit who rightfully kept their bad behavior under wraps was shown someone rewarded with the presidency for being an absolute human crusty cum sock and decided to go mask off.
