    In Denmark there has actually been talks about making this illegal.
    Parents sending their children away to the “home” country of the parents for “correction” of behavior.
    The correction is often based on religion, but my guess for why it has been considered it should be illegal is that it is actually harmful to the child. The child is being alienated, and this alienation can cause extremism and maladaptation more than anything.

    The boy is right to sue, and he should win the case, because it’s an awful and harmful practice.
