What’s especially embarrassing is that the creation of mRNA vaccines for Covid, done at scale and in the kind of timeline they were done was a modern-day miracle, and so many dumb motherfuckers don’t understand that fact, at all. Instead, they whine and carp and then rely on lying motherfuckers like this asshole to buttress their ignorance.
Ironic that Bobby Brainworm, a fellow traveler in the bullshit “wellness industry” wrote this:

Cut the research dollars then have private companies do the work. Then those companies can get all the profits. Then the politicians who voted to allow this to happen can get their bribes. I mean campaign donations.
TBF, under the previous system, wasn’t most research funded by us, only to have all the profit privatized?

I fucking hate this timeline so much. I tend to follow futurism/transhumanist types of discussions and so on, and I can see the promise of the future health and medicine breakthroughs (and I mean truly paradigm-breaking things like age reversal, and certainly improving treatment for a whole host of things like Parkinson’s, cancer, Alzheimers, etc.) that are probably not that far off, when we combine large amounts of data, and LLMs, and projects like folding@home, along with lots of research grants coming from a (sane) government.
All of that presupposes that we would not have a black swan event like having the dumbest MFer in the public get “elected” and surround himself with complete dumbasses and fascists making all the decisions with ZERO checks and balances on them…why is it that the stupidest apes have to hold all of us down?
