Just to be clear that’s a pretty low blow. There’s so much fucked about the guy without going against addiction, which is a real and devastating illness.
It’s about the hypocrisy. He’s had real addiction issues and considers blind-tested medicine to be the same. I don’t think anyone that has had a heroin addiction should ever be the top government healthcare voice, no matter their personal recovery. You need to earn that position and his past should completely disqualify him.
