They always have mid apps, are the apps/infrastructure that hard to replicate by companies with this much funding? it always feels like some small team’s project straight out of college. They barely feel better than solo developed loops.

like it’s possible yes, but ppl act like that means it is a great game engine that everyone should use, sure it’s possible, but it’s likely not any easier than using unity/unreal engine, s@box hopefully will take some of their base since you can eventually publish your own games without any fees.
