    Hopefully a solar flare just fries us all and we don’t have to deal with any of the bullshit going on now

      Solar flares don’t directly do much of anything to the Earth.

      They’re often correlated with coronal mass ejections (CMEs) which can cause geomagnetic storms if they’re big enough, tightly concentrated enough, and actually hit the earth (they can be shot out at pretty much any direction, so hitting the earth in any particular case is unlikely). In the case of the CMEs related to these three solar flares, the space weather forecasts predict little or no effect on earth.

    Lol, please.

    NOAA revised their solar storm warning down to G2. An M 4.4 CME won’t even make pretty northern lights as far south as Stockholm.
